The BodenWärme 1.5m² Underwood Heating Kit with a White WiFi Thermostat brings luxury and efficiency to laminate and wood floors. This complete set includes a durable heating mat and an intelligent thermostat, ensuring a seamless installation with lifetime manufacturer warranty for peace of mind.
The ultra-thin 1mm dual-core wire minimises floor height impact, while the fluoropolymer insulation ensures durability and longevity. The aluminium mat composition provides even heat distribution, and the single connection point simplifies installation. The WiFi-enabled touchscreen thermostat features adaptive learning, 7-day programming, frost protection, and a dedicated floor sensor. It allows remote control via iOS/Android, fits standard 45mm back boxes, and includes a Key Lock function to prevent accidental changes.
First work out the area of the whole floor space by multiplying the length of the floor by the width. You should then subtract any fixed furniture from the area with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor. This will eradicate the risk of causing hot spots in your room. When you have a total area minus the deductions, you should deduct a further 10% from your total as this will allow for the spacing between cables and around the perimeter of the room. This final number is your required kit size in m². A single thermostat can control up to 24m².
