Find out moreMade for laminate and floating engineered wood floors, this BodenWärme Electric Underwood Heating Kit featuring a White iSTAT Thermostat is an innovative heating solution that operates smoothly at AC230V +/-10% 50/60Hz, providing optimal results for year-round cosiness. Unlike traditional radiator heating systems, which are notorious for creating uneven hot and cold spots in your room, this BodenWärme underfloor heating kit emerges as a robust and dependable alternative, ensuring even heat distribution across your room's floor.
This underfloor heating system not only ensures a pleasant temperature throughout your room due to the strategic placement of the heat source but also guarantees warm and cosy feet while keeping your head comfortably cool - embodying the ideal temperature profile.
Characterised by its advanced features, the heating mats feature dual-core wire with a simple, single connection point, distinguishing it from many other carbon film systems. The ultra-thin encapsulated 1mm wire minimises any rise in floor height, ensuring smooth integration with your current flooring. Durability is also a top priority, thanks to the robust Fluoropolymer heating element insulation.
Included in your kit is a white iSTAT thermostat, empowering you to effortlessly control your heating with Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling convenient remote management through your Android or iOS device. The responsive touchscreen enhances usability, and adaptive learning ensures the system adjusts to the distinctive characteristics of your home. Schedule your heating for the entire week, incorporating holiday functionality, and employ the Key Lock function to prevent unintentional alterations to settings or programs.
To calculate which kit size is right for your project, you will first need to work out the area of the whole floor space by multiplying the length of the floor by the width. Once this is done, you should then subtract any fixed furniture from the area with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor. This will eradicate the risk of causing hot spots in your room. When you have a total area minus the deductions, you should deduct a further 10% from your total as this will allow for the spacing between cables and around the perimeter of the room.
