The BodenWärme Electric Underwood Heating Kit with a White iSTAT Thermostat delivers consistent, efficient warmth for laminate and floating engineered wood floors. Operating at AC230V +/-10% 50/60Hz, it ensures even heat distribution, eliminating the hot and cold spots common with radiators.
With a dual-core wire and ultra-thin 1mm profile, the system minimizes floor height increase while the Fluoropolymer insulation and aluminium mat composition provide durability and optimal heat dispersion. The sleek white iSTAT thermostat features Wi-Fi connectivity, a touchscreen, adaptive learning, and a Key Lock function, allowing effortless control from anywhere.
First work out the area of the whole floor space by multiplying the length of the floor by the width. You should then subtract any fixed furniture from the area with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor. This will eradicate the risk of causing hot spots in your room. When you have a total area minus the deductions, you should deduct a further 10% from your total as this will allow for the spacing between cables and around the perimeter of the room.
