Find out moreStep into a world of warmth and comfort with the BodenWärme Electric Underwood Heating Kit, designed exclusively for laminate and floating engineered wood floors. Designed to provide an even temperature to every corner of your room while preventing hot spots and cold spots from occurring, a common issue with traditional radiators, the kit also includes a dSTAT thermostat with a chic black finish, allowing you to control your heating system with ease. So, throw away those slippers and prepare for year-round comfort.
Operating at AC230V +/-10% 50/60Hz, the system provides efficient year-round comfort. The heating mat's dual-core wire technology simplifies connectivity with a single connection point, boasting an ultra-thin 1mm wire that discreetly integrates into your floor, keeping the increase in height at a minimum. The system's Fluoropolymer insulation and aluminium mat composition promise a heating solution that stands the test of time. For peace of mind, the mats feature a lifetime guarantee, with separate warranties for the thermostat.
As for the dSTAT thermostat, it showcases a sleek, modern design with a gloss black fascia that will blend seamlessly with most contemporary interiors. Its sensitive touchscreen enhances usability, and the adaptive learning feature allows it to tailor its performance to the unique properties of your home.
With a full seven days per week programming and holiday functionality, you have complete control over your heating schedule. The Key Lock function ensures that your carefully set programs remain unchanged, preventing unintentional adjustments by small children or brushing past the controls accidentally.
To calculate which kit size is right for your project, you will first need to work out the area of the whole floor space by multiplying the length of the floor by the width. Once this is done, you should then subtract any fixed furniture from the area with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor. This will eradicate the risk of causing hot spots in your room. When you have a total area minus the deductions, you should deduct a further 10% from your total as this will allow for the spacing between cables and around the perimeter of the room.
